rebuild
i have a 97 jimmy, 4.3 vortech, vin w. autozone doesnt carry a rebuild kit, advanced auto can get me everything but connecting rods, which is the main thing i need. does anyone know of a good place to find a rebuild kit, or at least the connecting rods? is there any place that specializes in performance 4.3 parts, like cams or oversized pistons or anything that anyone knows of? all I really need to get it back on the road is rods and a gasket set, maybe rod and main bearings too, but i figured since i was going to go to the trouble, i might as well do a little more, but the problem is finding the parts. anyone?
