perfume/cologne

so what is everyone's favorite perfume and/or cologne? or something that's really nasty? do guys even notice when a girl is wearning perfume? i was shopping for new stuff the other day and the guy i was with said he doesn't even notice or care.
my favorite perfumes would have to be 8 by Abercrombie & Fitch, August by Hollister or for a fun summer fragrance, i like Secret Crush by Victoria's Secret. On guys, i think Axe or any scent by Abercrombie and Fitch smells really good. what are your thoughts?

Re: perfume/cologne

lol, I have a secret one. No chick will ever know what it is!

I like when a girl smells good. I notice it for sure, but its only good when its faint in areas like the neck, and wrist. Areas that are intimate, you snuggle up close and smell it, or use it as an excuse to get close and breathe softly on her neck, or touch her...

anyway....ummm....yes...I notice and like it...

Re: perfume/cologne

Different scents smell differently on different people. My wife uses the j-lo one, smells good on her, but one of her friends wears it smells like crap on her. She likes dakkar noir on me, I don't mind it all that much as I can't really smell it after the first couple of minutes.

Re: perfume/cologne

I use either of the three:

Armani Mania
Davidoff Cool Water
Vera Wang for Men

edit: i also use Old Spice After Hours body spray. It's like Axe, but Axe sucks.

If you're hunting for a new scent, check out Escada Magnetism. i swear to you, it smells just like whiskey!!

Re: perfume/cologne

I don't wear perfume, I think I'm too lazy to put it on everyday...

I like Acqua di Gio, but I really have no preference. As long as he smells good. Even if it's just the smell of his house or laundry detergent.

Re: perfume/cologne

stetson's untamed for men is delicious too. one of my friends had a scratch and sniff add for that in her locker lol. sexy man ad too.

speaking of sexy man ads, one the main highways thru madison, someone put up a huge billboard for Abercrombie & fitch. yeah it's just slightly distracting to try and be driving and then have this massive picture of a shirtless guy with washboard abs and nice biceps..*drool* it's like them putting up topless women on the billboards and expecting guys to stay in their lane too. it just wasn't happening

Re: perfume/cologne

The only two I wear currently:

Armani - Black Code
Kenneth Cole - Black

I also have Hugo Boss, but it's not the spray kind so I find it more bothersome to use.

Re: perfume/cologne

Cheap bastard alert! I usually go with Tag Midnight...$3/can and it smells fine.

Anyways, as far as girls wearing perfume I do notice, but too much just pisses me off.

Re: perfume/cologne

i don't wear any right now because it's pretty much pointless, i go to a boarding school with 200-300 students from kindergarden to grade 12 and the guy:girl ratio is like 3:1. i like swiss army though (altitude i think it was) and a few others that i don't quite remember, im just too cheap to buy any, plus i don't have any money after spending 730 euros on a week long trip to europe.

as for girls, i notice if im walking behind a girl and i smell something nice, or if one of them crosses my path and leaves a trail lol. but the worst it that one of the greater women in my school (by great i don't mean good i mean big) always has strong smelling hair, like she'll be 10 feet in front of you and you'll smell it, so ill be walking down the hall, smell something nice, look to my left and see.... that. but my thoughts on women's smell is, it's good as long as she doesn't smell bad.
