Questions about a 91 Regal Custom
I am soon getting a 1991 Regal Custom. It has 120,000 miles on it and I was wondering if that is a good mileage for this car. It is mainly highway miles but some are city. I dont have to pay for it because it is my fiances but I want to know how these cars handle. I have to fix some things on it, like brakes, exhaust and it has no radio because the people who had it before her(my fiances) took the silver box out, or whatever it is called. I forgot to say, this is a 3.8L engine.

Re: Questions about a 91 Regal Custom
120k on a vin-L 3.8 is nothing. I know people that have gotten 300k plus.

Re: Questions about a 91 Regal Custom
At 198,000 miles, with a constant camshaft sensor code (41), i could crank like 20/26 (city/highway respectively) mpg out of a tank.
Good hard running cars. They take forever to die, my friend had one he beat on untill 258,000 miles in change, and it blew a headgasket. They actually handle really good, and are good in snow. they tend to keep traction in snow better than my civic does. You Cant kill Them. Bill |
