When I turn on the A/C and drive for 5-10 minutes and then try a hard tight turn the truck makes a squealing sound.
Only does this after A/C has been on not heat. Is it the steering pump or a belt or somehting else? Any help on this appreciated 2000 silverado 5.3L 2WD 80K miles |

Re: Steering diag help
Check your belt and tensioner, possible the ac compressor is starting to seize, also causing the belt to slip.

Re: Steering diag help
Agree - that sounds like belt squeal. Condition, tighten or replace.

Why is it so difficult for people that accidentally post the same thread twice to delete one of them ?
