Paint Estiamate for ram air hood

well i'm getting my ws9 hood in a few days..i wanted to know what price range i would be looking at to get the hood painted...dont know if it matters but the paint is going to be the factory navy blue metalic color..
just curious so i dont get ripped off

It kinda depends and varries where you go. My guess will probably be around $100-150. Again its a GUESS

if you want it to match your car, it'll cost you close to $250-300. Its a big hood.

Yeah i agree somewere between 100 and 200...look around theres alot of places that are small but they know what they are doing and also a hood is simple to paint because the prepping is already done. Things like this you dont need to pay too much a for a good job.
If you were painting a car then price really equals quality.

i talked to my local chevy dealer's paint shop they gave me a quote for around 250-300..i deffinitly want it to match, so i may go with them since they already deal with their factory paint...but i'll keep looking until the hood gets here at least i know the price rang to look for

I was just given a price from a friend to paint hood scoops and blend them in on a silver hood for $175 total . Color does make a difference . He said darker colors are easier . He painted black ones for me for $25 and they matched perfectly . He does it for a living, I take his word for truth . Rob
