front bumper interchangeable

hey im getting a 1996 WS-6 trans am tommrow i hate the front end of those and want the newer trans am fron end. are they exact match ups or do they not fit at all. any help or any ideas on this topic are helpful. also is ther anything i should know about the trans am it has about 90,000 miles on it, its in pretty good conditon. thanks all

Congratulations...Beautiful cars post some pictures when you get it.
Yes it is changeable although im sure it might need minor adjustments, BUT you can't just change the front bumper you need to change hood, lights, and fenders. Its quite expensive, but very possible.

i suppose thats alright the rest needs to be changed. i think i might just do a whole next generation up redo on the car. it might as well be cheaper just to buy one but to know i did the makover would be a good feeling. plus wtf itd be a good experience. thanks for the reply. nice looking birdy you got there. talk to you later

Yup it be fun and nice to know you did it yourself, the reason i know its because im debating on doing the change myself...every day i change my mind but when i have more money well see what i do the change or upgrade to a modern one.

are there any good sites other then ebay to buy parts for a trans am. i noticed you have a differnt hood where did you get your hood at i like that one better.

There might be but ebay is the best hands down...I got my hood at ramairhoods.com... but you may also find it on ebay...

You could put the T/A front end on that year firebird without having to replace the hood...just the front nose piece...
