swaybar differences

i know most civilian caprices didnt come with sway bars from the factory, but are the ones with stock sway bars the same bars as the 9c1's?
also, if i was to put a swaybar on my car (didnt come with one stock) what modifications would need to be made to the lower control arms?

Re: swaybar differences

No most civvie front bars are not the same. Most of them that I have come across are hollow on civvie cars. The 9c1s are solid.

Re: swaybar differences

mine is a civie car and i bolted a 9c1 solid sway bar to it, no mods were done to the control arms, there should be 2 7/16" bolt holes on each control arm and the sway bar bolts it
