my check battery light is on

i got a 90 dx, and i got the stock clock put in (off an 88 crx) everything fit fine, but maybe 20 minutes later my check battery light pops up. i got no idea what the problem is since i got a new battery 3 weeks ago. this happened yesterday and the light is still on....

it might not be used to the extra load caused by the clock, just reset the ecu and it should go away.

Are you sure it is the battery or the alternator? You can check by turning on your car and then disconnecting the battery, if it is the alternator the car will eventually die. If it is the battery than you probably wouldn't be able to start the car anyway.

But I would have that checked out, sounds like the Alternator, your going to get stranded if it is, so watch out.

bring your car to autozone and have them check your alternator, and also, clean the contacts on the battery, may be corroded.
