need balls

I have a 1999 cop car crown vic. yea its ok not to slow but could be a hell of alot better. what are some good ideas to do with it. it needs somemore balls. i want to run it up at the track once in a while and not get my ass kicked all day. what are some cheap ways to get it to get up and go.
o sorry it has a 4.6 p71 in it.
i open to anything but N.O.S.

Well one I would put some performance mufflers on it. I would also go with a cold air intake too. I would also think about going 3.73 or 4.10 gears with a posi. I would also think about a performance chip or tuner. The first two are kinda cheap and the others are a little more expensive, And that is all you really can do for kinda cheap.
