i hope this link works, we all done it, its not smart, but if u ever slip up try an be as safe as u can, and dont over due it. we thought this guy was someone that was in our club at first and we heard the driver was killed. thank god none of that was true

yeah one of the guys in my club heard a story of the accedent, he heard the car got cut in half, the people died, and they were racing. we have a guy in our club that goes by birdofprey and i thought thats who's car that was. but like i said lucky we were wrong and the driver and passanger both walked away. that bridge is fun to drive on, and i have done some wild things on it myself, but that man said the car went 3-4 ft in the air and im thinking he could have ended up in the water.... thats a long ass drop into the bay...damn that.

yeah his car is pretty sick, tr is like the origin of raceing clubs in tampa. the guys that belong to that board are sum pretty die hard raceing. the problem is because of the events that take place on that bridge it gives all of us clubs a bad name, to the point to where the cops are getting real strict around here. everyone is now look for the federal government to give all the guys a place to take street raceing because they are tired of things like this happening. taking your car, and giving u jail time just aint working so they are going to have to bend, the people are getting real fed up about seeing/ and hearing about this type of stuff

yes there is. and my club and a few others are working with a track in st.pete and one in bradington to have a weekend street night. the pics i took at the track was the first of what we call street nights. the thing is the track is a very active track and because of pre bookings we cant have it as much as we would like. ill send a link over for u all to see and how we got the idea..let me find it

I find it amazing that politicians can't realize that a good amount of stret racing is due to having no other place to go... and that impounding cars cant fix the problem while opening up a track can do a lot.

http://www.revxtreme.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14818 ok here it is. the thing is called c.a.r.s. cops against raceing on the streets. some kid i think on the west coast was raceing this other kid and one of the kids got killed durring the race. the father of the dead kid ended up befriending the other involved kid and with the help of this police officer they ended up starting this thing called c.a.r.s. they went around to school teaching the lesson of street raceing and what can happen and all that good stuff. well the city they were from ( i cant recall) ended up building a track for everyone to race at and they give drag raceing lessons and all that. eliminated street raceing all together. lets be real. if we all had a bad ass place to have grudge matchs with one another, didnt have to pay alot of money, didnt have to drive a state or a city over to do it, and it was going on till late at night like the street sceen then we would all be going there wouldnt we? why cant the government see that? it was like 10 bucks to get in, and another 10 if u wanted to race and that was all night. 6-midnight. we had a damn ball!and u got to run as much as u wanted, it was great. i dont know about u guys, but im tired of hearing the jacked up stories of how street raceing went wrong and people looking at us like we are suspects when they see us on the streets.
