Noooo Way!!!
Why the F.... should that happend to ME!!!
Now I have been waiting for 4 month for my almost new SR20VE engine 5-10000 km. and It have finally arrived, just to find out that the valve cover is completely smashed. Either somthing have falled down on it or it have felt down from a truck. The damage is OFCOURSE in the end where the cam wheels are placed, so in worst case I need a new valve cover, two new cams and two new cam wheels!!!  I will post some pictures of the engine tomorrow!!! *ZOOOOOOB*

Thats crap news to hear. I'd be asking some bloody questions to the people that looked after it and be demanding some pretty good answer's.

make sure there aint no bit lying around down the side next to the chain drive, cos you dont want it flying around in there when your going.

Wow! that is really poor treatment.
I wouldn't even bother unpacking it any further, for the cover to be smashed that badly theres just way to much of a chance that theres a crack in the head or block. It's either been dropped or had something VERY heavy put on it, I would assume in transit. Did you get it from a local importer?

Hey guys
Here are the latest status! We have taken everything of the engine so we could clean it proberly!! For what we can see the head haven't taken damage, but we are going to change. Generator Wheel Power Steering Wheel Timing wheel Valve cover Cam Wheels/gears Chain complete gasket/seal cams So I think the result will be really good!

he he *LOL* No I don't believe they just flew right by my house and dropped it there!!!*LOL* But they might as well have done that!!
I think it has been on a truck (pallet truck) which has taken a quick turn or had to brake hard, and then fell down from what I think is pretty high altitude! WickedG20> Yep me and one of my friends are doing the swap ourselves! I will post pictures and stories about the swap!
