Re: Hp??

You have headers and the Loudmouth?? Sorry.
And your dad gave you a couple extra bucks for Kooks?? That normally takes like $400 extra.
The hypertech is a waste. Those handhelds really don't do much...at least not power wise.

335-340 RWHP or so.
You only have one flywheel...and probably make 370 horse there.

Take it to a chassis dyno. Only way you will know for sure.

BTW...you are always running premium in it right?
What lid?
What TB?
Got any pics?

Re: Hp??

I had longtubes and the loudmouth.
Sounded like complete ass. I ended up getting rid of the loudmouth. I can't describe it really...but it sounded terrible.
But it was loud.

My guess still stands. Although the only way to truely tell is to have her chassis dyno'd. Shouldn't cost much...seems if you can mod it, you can afford a little to test it.

SLP has the best lid IMHO from the previous articles I've seen where they lock the computer to keep it from adding/retarding timeing so its all on the same playing field.

As far as the TB, its a waste of $$....let me repeat that..a WASTE OF MONEY. Our stock TBs are 73mm and can be used on ci's up to 370 with heads/cam w/o issues/restrictions.

Hell, I run a stock TB on my car. for what its worth.

Mr. L is right. You talk to him or myself, we'll lead you in the correct path.

Do yourself a favor, get subframes and suspension. All the power in the world does nothing if you can't put it to the ground.

Re: Hp??

335-340 to the wheels would be around 395-400 at the flywheel

why difference is too much? 400 at the flywheel and 340 at the wheels. 60 hp lose. (03-04)cobras are 390 hp and they put 360-370 to the wheels.

Ratings are completely different things than actual power.

I have personally seen a 2002 WS.6 lay down 319 RWHP on a dyno. Rated at 325 flywheel.

M6 cars tend to lose about 12% from flywheel to wheels. Autos are more...like 15% I believe.

the cobra was rated lower than it actually is. same as the ls1, and many other cars.
