Keeping fabric seats clean
i just purchased a 2005 grand prix gt and i would like to know howyou keep your fabric interior clean.

buy a spray stain repellant and follow the directions. 3m makes a good one, and if you can find it with teflon, even better. Tuff Stuff works awesome to help clean spills and get dirt out of the carpet.

i agree with rich on the repellant- scotchguard is a great choice too- the spills seem to just roll off. also, tuff stuff is awesome! hey rich have you even tried spot shot? i used it on some tan carpet where the tough stuff would get the grease all the way out- it worked like magic.

/shrug I used a factory cleaner that came with my mom's lancer...works miracles.

Thanks for the tip Jimmy. It's always nice to know there's another product that will work if another one doesn't. Another good thing for greasy stains is go-jo or DL cream hand cleaner. It's best to use it with a wet-dry shop vac so you can get the residue out of lighter carpet/upholstery.
