dancing

ok i know i will probibly catch hell for this, but since i moved i have to take 2 gym classes. of which i had to take a dancing class in each. the most amuzing and humiating also happened to be the biggest workouts. the first is the "body bars" if you have dealt with these you know that that 8 lb bar can break you like a wuss after about 30 minutes. the second and the one that humiliated me by far the most.... belly dancing. now my old westling coach used to say that your hips need to be strong in order to win matches.... it doesnt matter how strong your arms, chest, and legs are if you got crap for a core. he highly reccomended us guys to buy and participate in dancing videos, such as belly dancing.... we ussually laughed out asses off and continued working out. but now i had to do it because of the gym class i was in. believe it or not after about 2 weeks (the durration of the dancing unit) i did notice that it was easier to throw around some of the things at work i was ussually struggling to lift. has anyone else tried this?... or been forced by a class... or spouse.
