Complete: 91' Ford F-350 Dually

Here is my truck. It was a dually but it isn't now . This is my first model so I know it does have its negatives. Just a note also, I did mess up on the paint in a couple areas, for one reason I had to restart, and then I missed a few spots for sanding. Anyways here are the pics. My next car is a supra. I am just going to do a little engine work and lower it. Thanks again -Toyota00

-Once I uploaded the pics I noticed that my camera really makes my body work look really flat. It looks alot better in real life. I had the camera on the wrong mode and don't feel like taking more pics, but you guys get the idea...

Here is the truck in process...

Here is a pic of the engine, one of the better ones

Now some images of the final piece....

I gave up on the engine compartment. I didn't want to mess up the paint so I just colored with a sharpie...lol.. I want to start the supra!

This is how the truck really looks and its TRUE color.....

Not too shabby for you're first go 'round. Am looking forward to what your skills will be like after you have a few under your belt; they're lookin' pretty sharp already! Are those wheels nicked from Aoshima?

Ya, I got them from modelexpress.net. I should have better pics up later today. I really feel those pics do not give this truck to much justice. I know it is my first, but it DOES look alot better right now when I look over at it. Maybe the pics later today will help. Thanks though

A good start but u should have at least tried to paint the engine compartment. And by the way, that isn't really a dually if it only has 2 rear wheels, dually's have four: |---|

Re: Complete: 91' Ford F-350 Dually

The kit is a dually, I modified it.. ..... Yeah I know I should have finished the engine comparment but I am never going to open it, because the hood is a pain to fit with the fenders so it is staying on. It was my first one so cut me a little slack. I am doing a Supra now, and it will look alot better. I have learned so much from my first model and can't wait to make my skills better and better by modeling more and more..

not to bad the bends in the styrene and such dont look to bad. i love the wheels to. you should make a dually pre-runner, that would be sick. anyway keep up the great work!

Re: Complete: 91' Ford F-350 Dually

Thanks, I never got around to taking more pics. You get the idea with these pics, but it makes the paint look like crap, and the styrene bends. Anyways, I don't think it turned out that bad for my first. It was fun, and I learned so much while I was building this. Currently I am working on a Tamiya Supra, and I have only started the suspension and it already looks 10x better then this. Its all a learning experience.
