95 Voyager LE Door Lock Problem!

When I try to use my keyless entry I get nothing on the unlock including no sound out of a relay. I get nothing on the rear hatch at all. The lock function the first press does nothing, the 2nd press I'll hear the horn. As for the door switches, both the driver's & passengers side will unlock the doors and when you try to lock them you will hear a relay and nothing happens.

I have a 94 Grand Voyager LE with what I think may be a similar problem. With my situation the keyless entry will always unlock the car, but, unless my spare key is in the ignition and turn one position towards the start position, it will not work. I just hear the horn. If the spare is in the ignition and in the right position, the keyless entry will lock the car (also the internal lock/unlock switch works in this mode, but not if I remove the key from the ignition, spooky!
I have also found that the interior lights stop working at the same time.
Does your problem have any similar traits?

I have been told to take it to Chrysler as it is probably something to with the factory fitted immobiliser and they would need to have the car for several days to identify the fault and rectify it. I can only imagine the kind of bill I will get for that exercise.

If anyone can help either of us with our problems, we would be very grateful.

Many thanks.......Mark.
