Washing car with fmic?

Hey guys, when I wash the car and stuff, should I try not to get any soap/water on the fmic, or will it not hurt it?

Re: Washing car with fmic?

I wouldnt worry about it. Its just soap an water on aluminum. If you scrub it, I would be careful so that you dont dislodge anything.

Re: Washing car with fmic?

Cool cool. I wasn't gonna really wash the IC at all. Just wanted to make sure if soap got on it, it would be fine. Thanks guys!

EDIT: Heh, now crunch and I have similar signature pictures lol

Re: Washing car with fmic?

now someone has to catch up on what's under the signature picture

off topic, are you noticing a performance loss with your fmic? Not trying to get at ya or anything, but I know the T25 has a damn hard time filling up all that space at higher rpm's, just curious if it's enough to be noticable to you. Does your boost drop off any sooner than it did before?

Re: Washing car with fmic?

Well, I do notice that there is a little added lag before it fully spools now. But, when it does spool, it definately feels like there is a power increase. I haven't gotten a chance to do a hard run yet to check for boost dropping. But hey, $300 for all of it, I can deal with it until a turbo upgrade lol.
