TurboXS RFL BOV is freakin loud. Unfortunately, ther have also been many people bitching about how they suck. So...yeah.

Re: Quick BOV Question

the RFL doesn't recirculate. If you want loud though, you will have to go with an open bov not a closed. The Greddy type-S is a good closed, and so is a 1st gen DSM bov. I personally have the HKS SSQV bov, and while its not the loudest, it is definitely the coolest sounding. And the best part about the HKS SSQV is that you can by a recirculation kit, so you can choose whether you want to run it open or closed.

Re: Quick BOV Question

Why the loudest?? So everyone can hear you? Seriously go with the one that works the best and fits your budget the best.

Re: Quick BOV Question

^I don't think it causes idle problems, but a few people have had problems with their cars running rich between each shift with an open looped BOV

Which in turn can cause stalling issues.

yup, a lot of people have had these issues, but i've also known some who run an open bov who haven't had a problem with it.

Re: Quick BOV Question

i read on 3sxperformance the Apexi S-AFC can help with the stalling problem but i dont have 350 to buy one. What about the bovs that bypass and blow-off like the turbosmart bovs?

To get back on topic though, I think turboXS makes a decently loud recirculating BOV though
