Loose Converter after shift kit install
I installed my Transgo shift kit yesterday and it took forever, but we got it done.
Now, when I drive the truck the converter is real loose, the rpms go way up without really going anywhere. Other than that the truck drives fine, goes in all gears, shifts up and down fine. Shifts feel alot better too!! Anyone maybe know a cause for the loose converter?

Re: Loose Converter after shift kit install
Update:
When I drive the vehicle cold everything seems normal, but the warmer it gets the more the converter slips. When it gets up to temp I almost can't leave a stoplight!

Re: Loose Converter after shift kit install
Couple of things come to mind. Fluid level? Call the manufacture for trouble shooting installation!! Try disconnecting the Neg battery cable for at least 5 mins to put the computer into the "relearn" mode. This is necessary after "any" aftermarket mod............Steve
