Finished: Diablo VT -> SE30 conversion

Those who have visited my website might have noticed that I've been working on the conversion of Revell's Diablo VT to the SE30. With the 2006 Houston contest drawing near, I finally finished this long-standing project.

Exterior modifications include the front and rear bumpers, engine cover, rocker panels and wings. The doors were cut open and the door interior panels were scratchbuilt. The wheels were scratchbuilt and cast in resin, and the SE30 and bull badges were custom-photoetched. The body color was custom-mixed.

With the completion of the 550 and SE30, I'm back to my schedule of finishing one model per month.

Thanks for looking.

Somewhat different looking Diablo, absolutely awesome. Do you have any pictures of the engine bay?

Re: Finished: Diablo VT -> SE30 conversion

That door conversion is FLAWLESS. I couldn't even tell they opened until I saw the pictures. Panel-gaps are non-existant.
