Infinity M30

I saw an Infinity M30 the other day and I thought it was a convertible 240. Does anyone know if it is an S chassis car. Could I do a M30 front end swap to a 240 like a silvia swap?

yes they made an Infiniti M30 convertible, the majority of the ones I see are convertibles actually. In japan I believe this car is called the Nissan leopard.

As you can tell it comes with a 3.0 VG30, hence the M30 name. I've never driven one or don't know exactly what VG30 it uses, but they aren't fast. I've seen one on a lift and the rear suspension setup is not like a 240sx... i think it does not have upper control arms and the lower ones look a lot bigger and different. It uses an open diff r200 I believe. Availble only in automatic I think too.

A silvia front end will look TONS better and be a lot easier to put on. sure it might resemble a silvia somewhat, basically just in the fact of its rectangular headlights... but the rest of the car lines don't match up at all to a 240sx, and it might even be wider. It will basically look like some kind of junkyard contraption where you welded two different cars together.... ugly pos in my book.

that is an ebay auction for one..... as u can see it might only somewhat resmble a 240sx because it is also a Nissan so a lot of the underhood architecture and the like will look somewhat similar. If you know cars good, everyone follows a certain ambience of its maker, you will never mistake the inside of a Nissan for a Dodge lets say for example. Most car companies share the same style of switches, shifters, handles... etc between their line-up.
