93 caprice lo5 tbi
new egr new tbi to manifold gasket new fuel pump new fuel filter new air filter new injectors new IAC motar o2 sensor new map sensor throttle position sensor chks good I'm geeting a code 44 once car is hot it stops hunting at idle if cold it goes from 500 rpm to 1500rpm I have checked all connections and now have a code 44. stall from a cold stop the engine will stumble on accelaration. also the car will some times surge when speeding up Iac motor has been replaced intake manifold bolts are tight checked for vac leaks - none found new map sensor installed if car is ran cold without the o2 sensor hooked up there is no change car runs in cloosed loop with o2 once rngine warms up intake temp sensor is new coolant sensor is new any thing will help [email protected] |

I replaced the intake air temp sensor also
yes this was posted before but I still have the problem just not as bad |

I know you've replaced the fuel pump (and hopefully the filter), but did you test the fuel pressure? Your symptoms are typical of low pressure on a TBI220. The regulator (on the rear of the TB) is suspect.

I replaced the fuel pressure regulator also, I don;t have a guage to check pressure but everything but the fuel lines and tank itself has been . could my timing at the distributor/ HEI cause the problem?
