Skunk2 manifold for turbo?

This might be a funny question but I don't know a whole lot on boosted car's since I haven't owned one yet. Well here it is. Will a Skunk2 intake manifold for a 95' GSR work well if I decide to go turbo later on? Or should I just wait and buy one specifically for turbo. I really can't wait to get rid of my old manifold but I don't want to waste money if I'm just going to have to buy a different one in the near future. And if there is one for a turbo application which one should I buy and will it be ok to use it now until I do boost my ride? Comments, suggestions? Thanks.

Re: Skunk2 manifold for turbo?

There aren't IM's specifically for turbo or all motor, they are the same. You'll probably lose some power by switching it over before going turbo though.

Re: Skunk2 manifold for turbo?

dyno results on skunks are disappointing.

proven manifolds are"

edlebrock, golden eagle, AIR and AEBs just to name a few.

Re: Skunk2 manifold for turbo?

i dont think it will so bad to get a IM before ..because ive seen so many dynos for the Blox IM and the average is about 7-8 whp on a b18c1 ..the skunk2 manifold is just like the blox i guess and i have a blox IM it feels great ..
