Exclamation help with smec module please

i own a 1500 `89 ram van, 5 weeks ago my van wont start. it seems that the module SMEC is the problem. where i can find the replacement Single Module Engine Controller (SMEC) My van was built in Canada. THIS IS AN OFFICIAL S.O.S. call, thanks

You will not probally not find an used one.Most auto salvage yards are crushing the older cars and trucks because of the price of crush these days.You might have to get one from the dealer and try autoparts store,Such as Carquest,Napa,AutoValue,etc.There is a core on the old smec.Autozone(really called AutoJunk ,Advanced will not probally sell the smec.

Doesnt really matter where it was built to get the correct SMEC, you just need the part number off the old one and any auto parts store can get you a rebuilt. If you want used than try www.car-part.com
