Transmission question

ok now i have a 1994 suburban 2wd what tranny would it have the 4L60-E or the 700R4 also if anyone knows what would be the difference between the two? i could use the help because my trans needs work and i have a 700R4 from a camaro but i dont know if it will work

Your 94 is a 4L60-E (E = Electronic) The 700R4 (also called the 4L60) shares many of the hard parts but the biggest difference is that the 4L60E shifts electronically (controlled by the PCM).
