Can someone answer this for me?

Okay guys, I've been looking at making an AWD Opel here for a while, and since the Eagle Talon is one of the few AWD cars around (at least that I've heard of and aren't BMWs, Suzukis and all of that), how is the drivetrain set up? Is the front axle a trans axle, a traditional straight axle, or what? I'm trying to figure out how to go about it with this car, but I'm not sure.... Any ideas? I was thinking a standard front & rear axle, with probably a fulltime transfer case under it. Probably an NP 229 or NV242, just not sure yet. And ideas guys?

One question... where the fuck did you get an Opel? I dont know man, no matter what this is going to be a bitch and a half. I would buy a GSX or TSI AWD and just fix it up rather than swapping that shit out.

Re: Can someone answer this for me?

Its a car from somewhere in Europe that is, I think, under the GM umbrella. As far as I know, none were ever released here though. When I was in Norway, all the Opel's I saw were small and very un-sportcompact so why he'd want to turbo/AWD one I have no idea, but his money and his project.

Sounds like you are breaking new ground here. I say go for it!! Isn't the Opel a really short car? You could probably use the DSM components and have custom drive shaft cut for it. Good luck with that.
