maybe im just stupid, but what is STD. i keep seeing "i have an STD model"

its the base model civic....the lowest of the low no ammenities but light weight...Im sure STD stands for Standard...

i got a DX and it has no options whatsoever
standard tranny, no tach, 1.5, no AC, no power steering, no power nothing.

Here's a sample...

Standard Equipment

STD: 1.5L TBI 16 valve 70hp, 4spd manual, door mounted seat belts, 50/50 split rear seats, remote fuel and hatch release, rear defogger, 165/70R13 tires

DX adds: 1.5L TBI 16 valve 92hp, 5spd manual or 4spd auto, power steering w/auto tranny, motorized front belts (4dr), rear wiper/washer (3dr), tilt wheel, cargo cover (3dr), interval wipers, 175/70R14 tires

the STD model is lower than the DX !!!!! I always tell people that i have the base model civic and they say "oh you mean the DX" and i say "NO lower than that" Then they think im just stupid and dont know what im talking aobut. It's funny seeing it as STD.....i always think that my car has a diesease or somthing.....

yeah.... I have tried swapping over alot of the Si extras that i didnt get....but i REALLY REALLY REALLY want a sunroof.... I have the rear Si seats..Rear cargo cover, clock, non-door mounted seatbelt door panles (mine use to have door mounted seatbelts)... and i want to get the rear hatch dome light...
