sound from wheel

I have been having this problem for a while now, ive gotten some work done on the right front wheel of my car (tie rod, drive axle, new power steering system) but whenever i come to a complete stop, then accelerate again, ill hear a popping sound comming from the right front wheel, it always does it when i stop and go and its been doing it for a while now ever since i can remember. anyone have any idea what it could be? ive been told it might be a bearing or something. we have an 01' chevy venture that is starting to do the same also, not as badly as my car though.

Re: sound from wheel

The parts are about $20-$30, and it's a 1-2 hour job.

Re: sound from wheel

Don't those lower control arm bushings need to be pressed out to replace Rich?

How many miles are on this GTP?

Depending on the mileage it could be the ball joint or upper strut mounts too.
