starting problems

97 Firebird 5.7L with M/T
This car will start and run but if its shut off and sits for more than 1/2 an hour it won't start anymore. I've narrowed it down to being a fuel problem, I can hear the pump come on but i couldn't find a port to check for pressure, however my main concern is that the injectors do not open, i have power but the PCM is not grounding them. Could this be a cam sensor problem?(does it even have one). I have more experience with fords and do not know if GM cam sensor failure will cause the computer to go to non sequential fuel injection, or if it will just not fire them at all. Maybe even a PCM problem, bad ground, power, or the PCM itself. I don't have any wiring diagrams to check the grounds or powers to the PCM. Any answers or help would be greatly appreciated.
