bedrail add ons

Has anyone put the aftermarket vinyl bed rail covers? I had my bed sprayed but did not spray over the rail. I was looking at the chevy dealership and they run $108 + tax. They are stick ons. Do these stay on pretty well?

Thanks FEB

Re: bedrail add ons

Those stick on protectors were on my truck when i bought it used so they were on there for 4 years without any problems at least while i have had the truck, and about a year ago or so i bolted on a set of custom made bedrails so it is not like they are going to lift now. As long as you prep the surface properly before applying them, i can not see then lifting.

Re: bedrail add ons

I bought some from a local shop. Before buying them though, I asked if they would hold their shape because I've seen too many that warp or get a "wave" in them. He assured me that they would'nt to the point he'd refund my $ if they did. They are stick ons but I garantee no normal driving condition is gonna peel them off. They also look damn good.

Re: bedrail add ons

I have had really good luck with my Wade bed rail covers. I have never seen these things warp, really worth the extra money.

Re: bedrail add ons

I bought some black powder coated diamond plate ones for around $100 that I love. They are stick on via 3M double sided tape and those things won't budge once they are stuck on. I don't see 'em coming off anytime soon. IMO, every truck should have some sort of bedrail cover... i think its impossible not to scratch the hell outta the paint there.
