Wider tires, but need help!

I am being offered some nicer wheels for my '97 Suburban than the original set of 245s. The new wheels look just amazing and tires stick outside the body by about 1/4", which looks awesome!

But.. I am afraid that my Burb will 'sit' on the new wheels and shave the tires when I drive over bumps, take turns and the like. How can I prevent this from happening? I don't want to lift my suspension or my body, I just want to limit how far it moves downward so it never touches the tires.

My friend's Japanese car has a similar setup, but it was fairly simple to fix his by adding rubber 'coil boosters' that limit how low the body can go. It never touches the tire no matter what you do and how many people you have sitting in the back..

How do I accomplish the same on my '97 Suburban? Does anyone have an experience dealing with this problem? What is the equipment or parts that you recommend using?
