no fast idle

i have a 95gm with a 4.6, when starting the car cold, it will start but will not go to a fast idle. no codes or eng light. checked for iac as posted on other threads but do not see an iac on 95 4.6. think sensors are ok, any ideas??

have you replaced the iac its located under the windshield wiper motor housing on the driver side right next to the throttle body barryed down below on the intake manifold an easy way to find it is to look at your intake tube the rubber tube that is closest to the throttle body fallow it twards the back of the engine and it leads right to it

havn't changed iac, just looked for it and saw it buried under wiring harness, looks like fun to get at. thanks for the info.
