Re: 1992 S-10 Blazer 4X4

Yes always cranks right back up, but it was hard to start yesterday afternoon after I took it for a spine, I am thinking maybe need to check cylinder compression. Last friday I killed it and it would not crank back up until after about 30 minutes or so.

I just found that the transfer case I believe is hung into nuetral gear or something, as it left me stranded and when I tried to crank it and put it in gear it would make a growling noise.......

I now have took the shift case off of the transfer case and have put the vehicle into gear and reinstalled and it either has jumped back out of gear or there is another problem when shift the trans. into drive it grinds, in rev. no grind..
