neutral column switch

The reverse lights on my 1994 Jeep Cherokee aren't working...fuses and bulbs are good...I was told to check the neutral safety switch but can't find it, can someone please give me a specific location? (if it helps, the column shifter is on the console, not the steering column)

this link should help, try cleaning it first and if you have to replace it autozone can get them for $185.00 you may find em cheaper on ebay
