I think that I am going to go ahead and try to get the Durango.... but I am looking at lowering it and putting it on like 20's... but first I need to lower it.... I was looking for a lowering kit but all the ones that i found said that they were lowering kits, but they said that they had a 3" lift, and I was like what???? I don't know if that is just universal terminology or if I just was looking in the wrong place.... so if any one could help me I would be very greatful...

So you want to drop it and put 20's on it????? Its an suv, not a car. why would you want to do this? who ever thought an suv cant get out of snow or make it over a speed bump? If you did this, you shame the suv world, and yourself!

Car and Driver tested a custom durango a few years back. I think it had a Viper engine. Anyway, it was lowered and I think Stillen made the kit. Check Stillen or maybe Air Ride.

So you wouldn't take one of the SRT8 Cherokees or Trailblazer SS for spin?

Anything you can do to improve stability in a vehicle that is driven on the pavement 99% of the time is OK in my book. But.... If you're going to do a sloppy job of lowering (cutting springs/blocks/etc.) and add a set of those god awful "dub & spinner" wheels, I withdraw my previous statement

Hey, I Have A 99 Dodge...... I Dropped It 3" And I Have 20" Rims On It....everybody Likes It And I Got A Bunch Of People Jeolaus. On The Future, Im Thinking On Putting Airbags And Droppin It To The Floor, Also, Im Going To Put On 24" (either Go Big Or Go Home) I Mean, Depens On Your Style. If You're One Of Those Rednecks, That Think That Their Suv Or Truck Is For Offroading And Haunting Deer, Them Raise It And Put Big 33" Tires On It.....if You're More Into Having A Show Suv Or Truck, Then Go With The Lowering Kit And Thin Tires On It.......by The Way, I Got Mine Done At A Shop (the Lowering That Is) It Only Cost Me $200 (intall & Lowering Kit)

$200 bucks to lower? - like i said (IMO) shortcuts on lowering are not a good idea. If you got dropped spindles and the correct springs on the back for that price I'd like the name and number of your shop.

Naw.....i Only Got The Lowering Blocks.....that Why The Price Is So Low.....but Like I Said Before... Is Just A Temporary Thing, Until I Have Enough Money To Put Airbags On It. U Know, No Need To Spend Big Bucks On Something That Im Going To Replace Later On.
