Door panels Hatch panel help

I need to remove my door panels... How do I do this?
I know that I have to remove the handle-housings, the grab-handles, the speaker covers, the window crank, then all the screws for the panel... But what holds the top of the panel to the door? Are there some sort of clips up in there?

Also, I need to remove the interior panel that is on the inside of the hatch door... I've tried to get it out before, but it doesn't come out! I removed all the screws, but the top edge of it won't come loose... I figured there were some of those clips on the top edge, but I still couldn't pop it off of there and I didn't want to break it.

According to my Chilton manual, it would appear that, after having removed all that you have, the panel is simply held in place with plastic clips along the side and bottom. The top part must be lifted and pulled away from where it rests inside a groove in the door.

There is no mention in my manual of how to remove the panel from the hatch; in the section regarding removing the hatch door itself, it simply says to "remove the tailgate trim panel." If all the screws are out, I would assume that it is not unlike a door, in that it is held in with clips.

The manual suggests a trim removal tool to help prevent breaking the clips, but I've heard tell that a flat-head screwdriver works in a pinch.

Best of luck.

I had to replace my window once so...

1. unscrew the screw behind the door handle (I had to drill mine out, it was a bitch!)

2. Unscrew the cover of the speakers and unscrew all the screws behind that and pull out the speaker I think.

3. unscrew the screws holding on that cup thing at the bottom of the door

4. grab the bottom of the door and pull up and all that stuff should just kind of unclip in one huge piece

5. lift it up and out to remove it

They got it.

It hangs in the top of the door. So once all the screws and clips are out you jsut give it a wiggle and it will come free.

Just go round the door bit my bit making sure you undo all the screws.
If you have electric windows its a bit easier, as you just unplug the switch.

Manual windows need the winder removed, which is help in with a little spring clip.
These are always a pain to get out, and they all have differnt ways of removing them.
You just have to push back the panel, and pull the winder out a little till you can see it, then poke it and prod it till it comes loose.

Oh I forgot one of the most important ones. You need to pull out this clip inside your window roller down handle (that is if you have manual windows), a sort of hook like dentist tool works best, pull the handle and look between it and the door and you should see this sort of metal ring, pull that out and the handle should pop off.
