What cause this code p0780 any one.i know is a shift maulfunction,but what caused it to maulfuntion.can it be a ATsolenoid or a bad ignition coil.

reset ecu. if it comes back on. remove valve shift control solenoid and clean the screen. reset ecu and then test drive.

were is that located or do u mean the a or b shift solenoid or the shift/lock up solenoid??
