Mark Saturday, March 18 on your calendars for OMACON, hosted by IPMS Ft Crook (which covers east central Nebraska and west central Iowa). Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and lasts until noon when judging begins.
OMACON is held at the Mid-American Center, near the junction of I-80 and I-29 in Council Bluffs, Iowa and just across the river from Omaha, Neb.
More than three dozen categories for models are planned, from cars to planes and armor to ships. Displays of WWII uniforms and items from the local Commerative Air Force unit will be there too.
