Installing a body kit

I recently purchased a black widow body kit for my 94 honda accord. I also got a pair of metal z3 fenders. So far Ive taken off my oem fenders and front bumper. I put on my metal z3 fenders and they fit perfect (in case anyone wanted to know) they also came predrilled to factory spec. So anyway Im ready for the body kit. I really need some tips on the best way to get this thing on. Where do i start? Have anyone put one on thereselves? Will i use the stock plastic bolts or drill new ones? Any help will be appreciated.

Re: Installing a body kit

well i got a black widow rear bumper for my 97 accord. test fitted it just awhile ago. thing is that i have to move my exhaust a little to the right since it is touching the bottom of the kit. i heard that you may also have to take off the impact bar to place it in. not sure yet tho. i can give you more info when i actually put the damn thing in.

What are you going to do about painting it? Lemme know if you get some quotes on what it would cost to match the fenders and body kit to your paint (assuming you have the stock pearl paint).

Re: Installing a body kit

if youre talking to me jajimo...

yeah its stock paint. and yes im going to paint the kit the same color as the stock color. for now tho...my pockets be hurting lately. but my neighbor owns his own body shop. i believe he will do the whole car (door jams, trunk jams, engine bay, etc.) for about $1800. not sure if thats a deal?

but my boy has a friend that will paint my kit for the "low". not ure how much that is tho. ill get back at you about that.

if not...disregard this message. hahahah

ya how much is a reasonable price for a black paint job? my car is already black, so the engine or door jams wouldn't need to be repainted, just the outside since i got some scratches/scuffs all over
