89 Bronco II clutch

I have had my bronco for about 6 months now, and the clutch is starting to bite the dust. My question is how hard is a clutch swap on these things, Iv never worked on a bronco much less a ford at all before. If I don't do this myself (which I probably won't) how much have you guys paid for clutch replacment on your bronco??
Thanks is advance...

Re: 89 Bronco II clutch

If you have a mechanic friend, buy a good clutch and take it to him, and pay him what he wants. If you don't have a good friend who is a mechanic, buy the clutch kit, and a manual-and figure it out. (I put in my flywheel in my automatic in about 2.5 days.)

I just got a manual for it yesterday, Iv been reading and I think I'm going to attack it myself. I have no mechanic friends. I guess I'll get some practice in for doing my car next, I already have the clutch kit and got quoted $750 from the closest shop here JUST for labor for my car bah! I havent even called about the truck yet. but thanks for your replys people...
