Finally got that damn thing lowered w/pics

I finally did it. got the bolt fixed, installed the springs and camber kit myself, and had it aligned. all i need are a pair of tires so i can put my rims back on. hopefully ill get them soon

i have a few questions though. after looking at the back, im having concerns about rubbing. i have td motorsport's, and im not sure of the offset, but teamdynamicusa.com has it listed as such.

size offset
7.0x17 e+18/30/38/45/50

im assuming thats a multiple of offset options, but either way i know they stick out a little further than what i have on now. im using 215/45 tires, which is gonna cause it to stick out even more, but i wanted wider and a little thicker tire.

is there anywhere on the rim i can look for the offset?

any comments would also be welcome... thanks

as far as i know there is no place on the rim where you can look for the offset. for that car 38-40mm offset shopuld be fine without rubbing. how much did you lower the car ? it looks to me like you have lowered it more than 2"

well heres a little better one. the back looks a little like it was lowered more, but it wasnt. its just cause the wheelwell is smaller. as you can tell by the ground and the moldings, theyre parallel the whole time.

about an inch, maybe a little less in the back. im not worried about the visual gap, i like how low it is. its not stock, but its not scraping the ground either. heres a pic i have from before it was lowered, not a great pic. but it might be a little easier to tell how much its been lowered.

yea, its a 91.
and youre one lucky bastard for not needing a camber kit. mine was lowered a little less than yours, and i needed one, BADLY!! i dont even drive it that hard, and i need new tires after only a year on them. and i have speedtech springs.

as for mods, not much just an obx cai(kinda generic, but they all pretty much serve the same purpose), and that muffler is the universal maxspeed shotgun(dual canister, not just tips). in the future i want to get headers, a new cat and some aem pulleys. but for now, im just working to pay for school and other bills, so my car purchases are kinda "as needed"

and id like to see your car. how bigs the file? if you dont have any graphic programs, send it to me. ill do it for a $20 fee j/p

thanks kicker.
im just happy that i dont have to go 1mph sideways over speedbumps.

ive asked this before, but i forgot the answer and what post it was in, so imma ask again.

given that i have a 2" drop, what struts should i get that wont blow after 6months?
im not looking to race either, so i dont need some big $$$ shocks.(unless thats all there is)

eventually yes, like id listed before. a highflow cat, headers, aem pulleys and maybe an aem cai(so i can get that carb exempt sticker--gotta stay legal ) as for external, i dont plan on any kit since i havent been able to put together a basic looking setup. i like the bw rear, but ive yet to see sides and a front that looks kinda "stockish". but then again, im not really looking. i still wanna get all red altezzas, eventhough nobody apparently liked the idea.
something i did, you can call a mod if you want(its not really), is i took off the mud flaps, and im going to take off the wipers. since its summer, i wont be needing either, and it does add a little to the cleanliness. i dont have shit to do today since its my day off, just checkinn out the fleemarket. i heard they sell tires and i got paid yesterday... woohoo. anyways, if i remember ill take a before and after pic of the wipers to show the difference it makes. unless you've all seen it before. i never thought about it till my friend told me.

thanks for the good word wags. and when you gonna get your car back? i wanna see pics of the finished product.
