Question where is the tcc solenoid?

hi all

great forum, helped me track down the cause of something that's been racking my brain lately. whenever I'm getting off the highway or have been driving 80kmh+ for a while, my car would stutter and stall when I would slow down.

apparently it's the "classic" GM torque converter problem. I've been reading about it a lot, and apparently I can just unplug the solenoid and to temporarily solve the problem.

my issue is -- I have absolutely no idea where the solenoid is. I've attached a few pics, maybe some trained eyes can help me out?

Re: where is the tcc solenoid?

pic 3 you see the small blue square thing at the very bottom, its part cut off in the pic. Thats what you unplug. I have the same problem but mine is because of leaky valves as far as ive been told. I dont stall out my car just stutters whenever its engauging the torque perverter
