hi all
great forum, helped me track down the cause of something that's been racking my brain lately. whenever I'm getting off the highway or have been driving 80kmh+ for a while, my car would stutter and stall when I would slow down. apparently it's the "classic" GM torque converter problem. I've been reading about it a lot, and apparently I can just unplug the solenoid and to temporarily solve the problem. my issue is -- I have absolutely no idea where the solenoid is. I've attached a few pics, maybe some trained eyes can help me out? pic 1: ![]() pic 2: ![]() pic 3: ![]() pic 4:

Re: where is the tcc solenoid?
pic 3 you see the small blue square thing at the very bottom, its part cut off in the pic. Thats what you unplug. I have the same problem but mine is because of leaky valves as far as ive been told. I dont stall out my car just stutters whenever its engauging the torque perverter
