How to program remote on Jaguar X-type?

Hi,
Does anybody knows how to program remote for Jaguar X-type?
I bought spare one and like to program it, I know that it is possible, but can't find information.
Thanks

The X-type remotes require dealer programming.

Re: How to program remote on Jaguar X-type?

Turn the ignition on and off 4 times quickly.
You will hear a tone.
Remove the key and press a button on both of your remotes.
You will hear a tone after each one pressed.
Turn the ignition on and off.
Both remotes will be re progged.

this should work
