R.I.P Kirby Puckett

The Baseball world lost a major hero this week by loosing Kirby Puckett. Everyone here in MN and in the baseball community will surely miss our centerfielder.

Re: R.I.P Kirby Puckett

i think he was one of my favorite baseball players. although i don't really follow the great american past time, it is sad to hear that he has passed away. from the reports on him i've read and heard, there was nothing but good to be said about him. RIP

Its a damn shame to hear someone passing away at such a young age.

Especially when your gaining on it.

Re: R.I.P Kirby Puckett

Kirby was seriously my childhood idol. Growing up in MN watching him and the twins win the world series in 91 (dont remember 87 as i was only 2) Its sad to hear him pass at only 44(i think thats right).

Re: R.I.P Kirby Puckett

I was going to go to the memorial yesterday at the dome, I am glad i didn't because it took me 40 minutes to go 12 miles due to the snow and slush. I would of hated leaving downtown with 20 thousand people.
