Ignition Upgrade
Hey! I've done a fair amount of mods to my 92 C1500 350 [TBI]. I am now looking to improve the ignition system. I was thinking of going on a spree and getting all MSD components. I am looking at a blaster coil and a new distributor cap or an HEI kit, along with new wires and probably denso plugs. I am open to any advice, I am looking for a strong spark to help with all of the other modifications. Thanks!

Re: Ignition Upgrade
I have a '94 K1500 5.7L, using a blaster coil, 8.8mm wires, gm cap and rotor. I put denso plugs in my truck and it ran like shit. I replaced the denso plugs with the factory CR43TS AC plugs and it has ran fine since. I would stay with the AC plugs.

Re: Ignition Upgrade
My GM computer tuning guru, who is a NASCAR consultant, told me he has tested everything and his favorite plug for a GM street truck is NGK.
