Question Engines

Hey
first time poster here
iv got a 96 civic DX with factory engine
i wanna put a vtech in it and i was lookin at b16a engines
can any1 tell me good sites to look at (canadian if possible) or shops from stoney creek to toronto
i also found a ZC 16 SOHC VTEC at the jdm site is that worth look into?
or if any1 can tell me a good way to go about more power and speed to the engine i got
any help is appreciated

It also depends on how much money you want to spend.
With the b16 you will get better performance but also pay more.
The best way to go about more power is a motor swap. You will save more money and headaches. Are you going to do the swap yourself?

B16a1 cable Trans, for 88-91 civic's and crx's oh andsome older integra's as well 1850$

b16a2 Hydro trans 92 and up civics and integra's 3100$

b18b hydro trans same as above 2400$ just motor 1200$

b18c hydro trans same as above 4100$

b18c5 hydro trans same as above 6300$

h22a hydro trans, preludes and will fit others with mount kit 3100$

Sr20 have fwd 2350$ and rwd 1800$

Zc sohc just motor is 600$
ZC Dohc is 1200$ full swap

3sgte Celica 1600$
3sgte Mr2 is 1800$

4g63 Turbo 1700$

Klze with trans is 1700$

3vz Toyota 1500$

give me a call 403-225-4061 these are all the motors I have so please dont ask if I have others, I had a shop but had to close due to cash problems so this is just old stock.

1996 civic dx newbie

im a newbie to hondas and japanese cars, i have a 96 civic dx 4dr im about to buy upgrades on the engine, but the engines not worth to soup it up stock hp is 106 im looking for like 140 or 160 stock hp id like to know some engines with higher performance that will fit
