Re: looking for a 383 kit
yeah i might just go with having a 355, i am still wanting to put an lt1 in, but if i do that i wont have my car all summer. i dont really feel like having to drive a 2.8 s10 all summer

Re: looking for a 383 kit
An L98 would cheaper and less hassle to install than an LT1. Can get some definite power out of it too.

you get what you pay for... if your spending the cash why not spend a little more and get something better!!

Re: looking for a 383 kit
well after i bought the spohn stuff i wanted (all but the torque arm which i still want) i bought a complete TPI set up, came with everything including a brand new set of 350 fuel injectors. I also bought a complete 350 2-bolt, which isnt really what i wanted but it was only $50. i am planning on getting a holley stealth ram intake and a new throttle body and that should tide me over for a while. starting to wonder if i should keep the car or not, little things are starting to pop up which are pissing me off. i have a great job lined up for the summer so i could get a new car.

Re: looking for a 383 kit
a 2-bolt main block can be machined to be stronger than a 4-bolt main, as mine was. I think you should work with it, don't sell it. Imagine what you can do with a stealth ram and a vortech s/c.
