speedyperformanceparts.com - a scam?

Hello,

Being from Norway I'm not always 100% sure about the legitimacy of all these US webshops selling whatnot...

It seems the hubs on my girlfriends Sportage is worn out, and I was recommended to buy the Warn (auto-)hubs both here and on automotiveforums.com. I was also recommended to buy these from 4buy4.com. I tried ordering them, and even transferred money, but they refunded the money and said "not in stock for 1 month or more". I then searched the web for other warn dealers, and found Speedyperformanceparts.com. The price were about the same as with 4buy4.com, and they looked like a serious shop, with 24h live support. I ordered the auto hubs form them, and a couple of weeks later my VISA was charged and I received a tracking number. All good so far.. I thought.. When tracking the shipment I discovered that the tracking number said "Destination Kenmore, WA".. pretty far away from Norway..

I contacted them via live support and talked to someone that was going to talk to the shipping department to get it all sorted out. A week later or so, nothing happened. The package in Kenmore has been picked up, so I contacted live support again, and again, and again, always the same, "contact us again in 2-3 business days", or "you'll receive tracking details in 2-3 business days". Well.. I'm getting tired of this ****. Is this a real company, or is it all just a scam? Anyone ordered anything from them and actually received it?

Frustrating situation.. specially since we've got 1.5 metres of snow and only a RWD Sportage - which is about the worst car I've driven on snow/ice. It needs the 4WD soo bad.

Cancel the order and contact your Visa card issuer immediately. You shouldn't have to put up will bulls*** like that.
