Re: 1997 stock wing?

yes it will fit. But when you remove your 2pc wing, you will have a ton of wholes to fill. on the hatch and both rear 1/4 pannels

Re: 1997 stock wing?

Oh, and filling the holes isn't that hard. When I did mine, there was about 6 holes that needed to get filled. Used bondo and for the larger holes, I used little metal sheets that you can find in hobby shops. I JB Welded those inside the hatch, then bondoed on the outside then. All in all, it looks good. My painting sucks, so if you're paying attenetion to it, you can see where the paint changes. But it's smooth.

You can start by looking on Ebay. If you don't find what you want, Google was invented for a purpose such as this.

What he said.

Getting a 2gb turbo spoiler isn't as easy as I thought it was going to be when I bought mine. A few ricers are selling theirs for aluminum wings, and OEM copies are sold (these are probably of lesser quality); there are still more buyers than sellers. FWIW, I didn't think the car looked bad without a spoiler . And speaking of rice, I eventually bought a Supra style spoiler (it was cheaper)...

...Yeah, it only added a few hp, for the record.

Be sure you're willing to clean up the holes you'll create before you decide to do the swap. David-b has a post here on it. I had a friend do mine for me, since bodywork scares me, so I can't comment on it personally.

Good luck.
