update on swap

i perety much have everything (except turbo and charge pipes and intercooler, yes i decided to go turbo), but at this point i doubt the swap will be completed, i have about $2000 in the bank and im thinking abotu selling my st +my 4agze and 4age stuff for an alltrac

pretty much my front bumper is chipping badly and im gonig to fix tat

and i got in an accident, i was parked in a friends driveway (all mud) and it flooded here in town, i was backing out at an angle and there was a car park across from mine behind me, as i was backing out i pressed on the breaks, and kept sliding....right into the car.... it was gay, no real damage at all just some paint swapping but it made me realize, i hate fwd cars....lol

plus ive already dumped about $3000 into the car and shdecided it would cost about another $1500 to get it exactly how i would like it becuase i dont half ass shit

and btw if anyone wants a megasquirt unit i think ima put it for sale, it will be a fully standalone unit, fully adjustable fuel and spark tables, and adjustable revv limiter as wel as a 2 bar map sensor....but this is only if i dont decide to finish the swap....this will be rare...extremely, it is probably the only standalone ecu for a 4afe, and with a slight modification itll work for a 5sfe....heres the kicker i modifyed the harness so all you have to do is unplug your stock ecu and plug in your megasquirt, and do a few minor things in the engine compartment witch take less than 10 minuts, thats it but only if i sell the swap

so yea thats about it, but well see, i love this car and really dont want to part with it, but its just a smarter thing for me to just buy the alltrack....well see, but yea sigma asked for an update so i gave one oh yea chekc this out

i bought a geo metro for $450 and i have a buncha shit for it, titanum valves, 8000rpm valvesprings, msd 6AL ignition w balster coil, ITBS!!!!, a custom made header, adjustable cam gear, proted/polished head, multi angle valve job, and thats all what i actually have in my garage...its also getting a t3/t4 turbo, tmic w a custom manifold (after i swap the itbs for the manifold wish i could plumb the charge pipes to the itb's) and were getting rods and pisotns made, the only pistons i can find is ones from a d16z6, so yea..

and i have acces to a $600 honda crx...that will get a 4agze or 3sgte that ougtha piss off a few honda poeple

Re: update on swap

OH shiii. Even though the celica is going, that GEO will kill, lol. The Geo is a rebadged Suzuki swift right? man... if you get 200 WHP i'm going to crap my pants, that thing will be awsome even if it's FWD. Are you going to keep posting here about the GEO? If not tell me where you are going, i'd like to keep updated with that little devil. Are you still running up and down the mountains? Any suspension mods planned for that GEO?

Re: update on swap

its being run n/a for awhile till we can figure out the engine managment but were gunna put all that shit on next weekend or this weekend....soon as i finish the head, itll be run w itb's untill it gets rturboed, then you see that manifold next to the itb's? were using that combined w a supra throttle body when it gets boosted, im actually working on the manifold as we speak

suspension is going to be from a toyota paseo, springs and shocks
yes its just a rebaged swift
its getting alot of toyota stuff, we almost swapped a 20V 4age in it but figured
how many fast geos do you see?
how many fast geos w swaps do you see?
how mnay fast geo w the OG 3 cyl do you see....none, and if you go by the equatoin of a 10 pw ratio at 160 CRANK hp, well be at around 13's flat, mabe high 12's mabe low 13's, at 200WHp well be deep in the 12's....and i forgot to mention its getting an lsd and HUGE tires (for its size, 225 azenis rt-615 all around)

seeing the ceilca go is sad, finding an alltrack is hard as shit tho...hey VIP09 wered u find urs at?

Re: update on swap

lol, damn is it only going to be for drag? Or are you going to do something more with it, since it sounds like it's too good for the strip =D Either way this is one car im very interested in seeing the out come. If you weren't so north cal (where it seems to be where all the good modders are) I'd stop by, lol. Yea, I'm in ricevill Orange County =/

Re: update on swap

LSD in a sleeper = mountain runner. North Cal got all this terrain. In L.A. its traffic during the day, cops during the night. Ive gotten 2 tix during my first month of celica owning.
But I also agree, to a point you just get tired of a FWD. Even turboed. Altrac is much feasible as a platform to begin with.
...lol...LSD and a t3/t4 in a geo? omg man, this is out of the blue.
